Editorial policy
How we aim to earn your trust
Scambaba’s guides should be useful, calm, and checkable. This policy describes the standards for this starter site and should be followed by whoever maintains it.
Research and sources
We prioritize primary sources such as public agencies, regulators, and the organizations responsible for a service. We link to sources so readers can check details for themselves. Where advice is specific to a country, we label that clearly. General guidance is not a substitute for local rules or professional advice.
Accuracy and review
Scam tactics and official procedures change. Each guide should show when it was last reviewed, be checked against its linked sources, and be updated when material details change. The current guides are an initial draft; add a named reviewer and a working contact route before treating them as fully maintained advice.
Corrections
If you spot an error, use a contact address published by the site owner. There is not yet a working contact address or submissions channel on this site, so a correction process is not operational until one is added.
Independence and funding
Scambaba is not affiliated with organizations mentioned in its guides. Any future sponsorship, affiliate links, or paid placements should be clearly disclosed next to the relevant material and must not determine the guidance.
Artificial intelligence
Tools may assist with drafting or research, but a responsible human editor should verify factual claims and sources before publication. We will not publish large batches of unreviewed pages just to target search queries.
Before public launch, replace this draft policy with the actual owner’s review process, corrections contact, and disclosure details.
